Editorial methodology

Last updated: October 1, 2026

AIStackMatch helps people choose software. This page explains how we evaluate it so you can judge our recommendations for yourself.

What we evaluate

  • Features: what the product does and how complete it is for its category.
  • Use cases: which jobs it handles well and which it does not.
  • Pricing: free plan availability, entry price and how cost scales.
  • Ease of use: how quickly a new user can become productive.
  • Integrations: connections with other tools and API availability.
  • Target user: who the product is designed for.
  • Value: what you get relative to what you pay.

How scores work

Where we show a score, it is an editorial assessment on a 1 to 5 scale for each criterion. It is not a user rating and is not an average of customer reviews. We do not tune scores to favor a product because it has an affiliate program, and category winners in comparisons are not always the same product.

Sources

Our assessments draw on official product documentation, public pricing pages, feature lists and release notes. Pages state when information was last updated. Software changes quickly, so always confirm details on the vendor site before buying.

What we do not claim

We do not claim to have personally tested a product unless a page explicitly says so and describes the evidence. We do not publish fabricated reviews or testimonials.

Independence and affiliate links

Some links are affiliate links, which can earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not change how we evaluate a product. Read our affiliate disclosure.
