Short answer
Connect ClickUp integrations from the App Center, which is on every plan. Start with the one system your team already lives in, such as GitHub, Slack, Figma, or Google Calendar. Owners and admins set up Workspace connections. Guests cannot connect apps.
ClickUp integrations exist so the task list can see the tools you already use. The App Center is where you connect them, and ClickUp Help says it is available on every plan. Guests can open it. Owners, admins, and members are the people who connect apps. Only owners and admins create a Workspace connection.
ClickUp's product description, recorded in our tool data, lists 1,000+ integrations. You do not need all of them. Connect the system where work already arrives, confirm it on one List, and stop. The ClickUp hub is the index. Prices in this guide were checked in October 2026.
How do ClickUp integrations connect?
Help describes two connection types. The right one depends on the app.
| Connection | Who sets it up | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Personal | A member, if their role allows it | Your own account. Other people do not get your private files through ClickUp |
| Workspace | An owner or admin | Shared access so members can search public files from that account |
The generic steps in Help are: open the App Center, search for the app, choose the Personal or Workspace tab, click Connect, sign in, and authorize. Some apps support Connected Search. If you turn that toggle off, Help says Agents and Brain will not search that app's files.
A permission called Personal Integrations is described as an Enterprise option that is rolling out gradually. If the Personal tab is missing, Help says to ask an owner or admin, and that the behavior can change.
You can disconnect an app later. That revokes the access you granted. Do that when someone leaves or when a test connection was broader than you needed.
Which integrations fit each team?
These are the connections small teams ask about first. Each line is limited to what ClickUp Help or our tool data actually states.
| Team | Connect | What Help says it does | Plan note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Software | GitHub | Links commits, branches, and pull requests to tasks in a connected Space. It does not give ClickUp users the repository code | Integration on every plan. GitHub Automations on Business and above |
| Design | Figma | Embed Figma content, and run Figma commands from the AI Command Bar | Listed as a personal connection |
| Chat | Slack | Create tasks from Slack, post activity to a channel, preview task links | Every plan. One ClickUp Workspace connects to one Slack workspace. Slack Automations on Business and above |
| Files | Google Drive | A personal or Workspace connection, including Connected Search of files | On the connect-an-app list |
| Calendar | Google Calendar | Sync tasks that have dates to a calendar, and show Google events in Calendar view | Integration on every plan. You cannot sync tasks to a shared Google Calendar |
| Meetings | Zoom | Listed as a personal connection | Do not assume it replaces a meeting agenda |
| CRM | HubSpot | Map HubSpot actions from ClickUp Automations, such as creating a contact | Unlimited and above. Owners and admins set it up |
| Glue | Make | Make's own scenarios use ClickUp as a trigger or action | Every plan. Owners and admins set it up. Make maintains it |
The deeper GitHub setup, including task IDs in a branch name, is in ClickUp for software teams. The Slack clicks are in ClickUp Slack integration. Google Calendar has enough detail to set up a sync, and a later mistake is easy: tasks need a start or due date, future recurring tasks do not sync as a series, and updates can take several minutes. Google Calendar Automations can be tried on every plan. Help says unlimited use of those automations is on Business and above.
Microsoft Teams, Outlook Mail, and Notion appear on ClickUp's connect-an-app list as personal connections. Teams and Notion can also be Workspace connections. Connect them when that product is the system of record. Connecting all three "just in case" adds surfaces nobody checks.
Zapier is on our integration list for ClickUp, next to Make. Use a glue tool when there is no native connection for a step you repeat. Prefer the native app when Help documents it, because the native one knows about Lists, Spaces, and task fields.
Jira Sync is a separate, narrower case. Help says it is on Business Plus and Enterprise, it is in beta, and the Jira side needs a premium plan and a global admin. Pure engineering teams often stay in Jira. The comparison is ClickUp vs Jira.
What should you connect first?
Pick one column from the table, not the whole table.
- Name the tool people already open before they open ClickUp. For a software team that is usually GitHub. For a company that lives in Slack, that is Slack.
- Have an owner or admin create the Workspace connection if the whole team must share it. Have each person create a personal connection if the data is private, such as a personal calendar.
- Point it at one Space or one List. GitHub links repos to Spaces. Slack activity sync can target a Space, Folder, Subfolder, or List. A Workspace-wide firehose is how people mute the channel.
- Run one real item through it: one pull request, one Slack message that becomes a task, or one task with a due date that shows on the calendar.
- Add an automation only after that single path works. ClickUp automations are the trigger-then-action model. Guests cannot set them up. An owner or admin has to turn on the Automation ClickApp.
Which plan do integrations require?
The App Center itself is on Free Forever. Many individual apps are too. The limits that surprise people are the automation layer and a few named products.
| Need | Where Help places it |
|---|---|
| Connect Slack, GitHub, Google Calendar, or Make | Every plan, with the role rules above |
| GitHub Automations or Slack Automations | Business, Business Plus, and Enterprise |
| Unlimited Google Calendar Automations | Business and above. Lower plans can try them |
| HubSpot | Unlimited and above |
| Jira Sync | Business Plus and Enterprise, beta |
Free Forever is $0, with 60MB of storage and limits on Spaces, forms, and whiteboards. Unlimited is $7 per user/month billed annually ($10 monthly). Business is $12 billed annually ($19 monthly). Enterprise is custom. AI is a separate add-on from $9 per user/month. Brain search across connected files is not a reason to buy AI on day one. Connect the app and use the task link first. Figures are in ClickUp pricing.
ClickUp Chat is the in-product alternative to piping every conversation through Slack. Chat can be enough when the team will talk next to the task. It is a poor replacement when the company already runs in Slack. In that case the integration is the honest setup: leave the conversation where it is, and create the task from the message that is real work.
Connect one app to one List this week. Add the next only when someone asks for a status that the first connection cannot show.

Frequently asked questions
Does ClickUp have integrations?
Yes. ClickUp describes 1,000+ integrations. You connect them in the App Center, which is on every plan. What each app can do still depends on that app and your plan.
Who can connect an app in ClickUp?
ClickUp Help says guests can view the App Center, and owners, admins, and members can connect apps. Only owners and admins can create Workspace connections.
What is the difference between a personal and a Workspace connection?
A personal connection is for your account. Other people cannot search your private files through it. A Workspace connection lets members search public files from the account an owner or admin connected.
Do ClickUp automations with other apps require Business?
Often yes. Help says GitHub Automations and Slack Automations are on Business and above. You can try Google Calendar Automations on every plan, with unlimited use on Business and above.
Should every integration be turned on?
No. Connect the tool people already check every day. A long list of unused connections makes search and notifications noisier.
