Short answer
Trello Standard costs $5 per user per month billed annually ($6 monthly). Premium costs $10 annually ($12.50 monthly). Enterprise costs $17.50 per user per month billed annually. The free plan allows up to 10 collaborators and 10 boards per Workspace, with 250 automation runs per month.
Trello Standard costs $5 per user per month billed annually, or $6 if you pay monthly. Premium costs $10 per user per month billed annually, or $12.50 monthly. Enterprise costs $17.50 per user per month billed annually. The free plan is a real Workspace: up to 10 collaborators, up to 10 boards, and 250 automation runs per month.
Those figures are from our tool data, checked in October 2026. Confirm the current bill on the official Trello pricing page before you add people. The product itself is in the Trello profile and the Trello review. This page is the price. The free-plan caps, on their own, are in Is Trello free?.
How much does Trello cost?
Trello charges per user on the paid plans. A collaborator who needs a seat on the paid Workspace is a user in that math. Our data publishes an annual price and a monthly price for Standard and Premium. Enterprise is listed as an annual price only.
| Plan | Annual price in our data | Monthly price in our data | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Up to 10 collaborators and 10 boards per Workspace |
| Standard | $5 per user/month | $6 per user/month | Teams that have outgrown 10 people, 10 boards, or 250 automation runs |
| Premium | $10 per user/month | $12.50 per user/month | Teams that need the higher paid tier |
| Enterprise | $17.50 per user/month | Not listed in our data | Organizations with custom admin needs |
The free row is not a trial timer in our data. It is a plan with hard caps. An 11th person, an 11th board, or a workflow that burns through 250 automation runs is the point where Standard becomes the number to write down.
Our data does not publish a monthly Enterprise dollar amount. If you need to cancel month to month, price Standard at $6 or Premium at $12.50, and treat Enterprise as a sales conversation.
What does the free Trello plan include?
The free plan is a Kanban Workspace. Boards, lists, and cards are the product. Checklists, due dates, and attachments sit on the card. That is enough for a personal board, a content pipeline, or a small group that can live inside 10 boards.
Our data lists these free-plan caps:
- Up to 10 collaborators per Workspace.
- Up to 10 boards per Workspace.
- 250 automation runs per month.
The product features in our data, across Trello, are Kanban boards, lists, and cards, checklists, due dates, and attachments, Power-Ups, Butler automation, templates, and Calendar, Timeline, and Table views on paid plans. The free plan is the board. The extra views are called out as paid. Our data does not say which paid plan unlocks Calendar, which unlocks Timeline, or which Power-Ups sit on Standard.
If the only question is whether you can start without a card, the answer is yes, inside those three caps. The free-plan guide stays on that question. The paid price only makes sense next to what you are leaving.
What do Standard, Premium, and Enterprise change?
Our data names the three paid prices and does not assign every feature to a tier. Do not guess the split from the plan name.
What the data does state:
- Calendar, Timeline, and Table views are on paid plans. The free plan is the Kanban board.
- The free plan stops at 10 collaborators, 10 boards, and 250 automation runs per month.
- Trello is limited for complex projects and dependencies. Reporting and workload tools are basic. Some features rely on Power-Ups.
- Enterprise is a per-user annual price in our data, $17.50, not a custom quote. That is different from several other tools in this set, where Enterprise is custom.
Standard is the plan to price first when a cap is the thing in your way. Premium is the plan to open on the pricing page when a named feature is missing from Standard. Write the feature name down before you double the seat price from $5 to $10. On a 10-person annual bill, that jump is $50 a month, $600 a year, and more than that if you pay monthly.
Enterprise at $17.50 per user per month billed annually is the admin tier in our data. A 10-person Enterprise bill is $175 per month before you know which control you needed. Read the pricing page for that control. The seat price alone does not tell you that you need it.
What does Trello cost for a team?
Multiply the user price by the number of people who need an account. Our data does not publish a separate guest rule, so count the collaborators you will invite and re-check the pricing page before you promise a client a login.
Annual billing, from the prices above:
| Team size | Standard per month | Premium per month | Enterprise per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 users | $25 | $50 | $87.50 |
| 10 users | $50 | $100 | $175 |
| 20 users | $100 | $200 | $350 |
Monthly billing, where our data publishes it, is higher per user. A 10-user team on Standard monthly is 10 times $6, which is $60 per month. The same team on Premium monthly is 10 times $12.50, which is $125 per month. Enterprise monthly is not in our data.
Choose monthly while the team is still testing the board. Choose annual after the people who will use it have agreed to stay. The annual Standard saving versus monthly is $1 per user per month. On 10 users that is $10 a month, $120 a year. It is real, and it is not the main decision. The main decision is whether a Kanban board is the tool.
How does Trello pricing compare with ClickUp?
These are list prices from our data, checked October 2026, for the first paid tier on annual billing.
| Tool | First paid price in our data | Free plan limit to know |
|---|---|---|
| Trello Standard | $5 per user/month | 10 collaborators and 10 boards per Workspace |
| ClickUp Unlimited | $7 per user/month | Unlimited members, 60MB storage |
| monday.com Basic | About $9 per seat/month | 2 seats, up to 3 boards and 3 docs |
| Asana Starter | $10.99 per user/month | 2 users |
| Notion Plus | $10 per seat/month | Individuals; a limited block trial once a second member joins |
ClickUp Business, the higher ClickUp tier in our data, is $12 per user per month billed annually ($19 monthly). That sits next to Trello Premium at $10 annually ($12.50 monthly). ClickUp Enterprise is custom. Trello Enterprise is the listed $17.50. Notion's data says it advertises savings on yearly billing, so compare Notion's annual rate at checkout rather than treating $10 as a signed quote. monday.com pricing and ClickUp pricing are the matching pages for those bills.
Trello Standard is the lower first paid seat. ClickUp Unlimited is $2 more per user per month on the annual number, and ClickUp's free plan does not stop at 10 people. Free Forever is $0, with unlimited members, 60MB of storage, and limits on Spaces, forms, and whiteboards. A group of 15 that is still testing can stay on ClickUp's free plan. The same group cannot stay on Trello's free plan.
The trade-off is the product, not the $2. Our data describes Trello as the simplest board in this set: easy to learn, and limited once you need dependencies, workload planning, or cross-project reporting. ClickUp is the wider workspace, and it takes longer to set up. ClickUp vs Trello is that comparison. Trello alternatives is the short list if the board is why you are shopping.
Which Trello plan should you buy?
- Use the free plan while the work fits in 10 boards and 10 collaborators, and while 250 automation runs a month is enough. Do not design a company rollout on that cap.
- Price Standard at $5 per user per month billed annually when an 11th person, an 11th board, or the automation cap is the actual problem. At 10 users that is $50 per month, $600 per year.
- Move to Premium only for a feature you have confirmed is not on Standard. Our data does not name that feature for you. The pricing page does.
- Price Enterprise at $17.50 only when an admin control on that tier is required. A 10-user annual Enterprise bill is $2,100 a year.
- If the work needs dependencies, time tracking, or more than a board, price ClickUp Unlimited at $7 per user per month billed annually for the same headcount, and read Is ClickUp free? if the 10-person cap is the reason you are leaving. The ClickUp hub collects the pricing and setup guides.
For a team that wants a Kanban board and will stay inside a simple card workflow, Trello Standard is a coherent bill, and the free plan is enough for many smaller ones. For a team that is leaving Trello because the board cannot hold the plan, compare ClickUp before you buy Premium for everyone.
